Duke University, located in suburban Durham, N.C., is a private
institution founded in 1838. The campus is 8,709 acres and offers, in
addition to a top notch academic education, many different sports and
student activities. The Duke Blue Devils are well known for their men’s
basketball program and their rivalry with the University of North
